The Security Unit of the University of Lagos has said that
they only employ educated workforce so as to compliment the educational setting
in which they are to function. According to Mr Anthony Eliagwu, the Chief
Administrative Officer of Security Unit and also the Personal Assistance to the
Chief Security Officer- SP Adamu Shehu (rtd), during an interview at the
Security Unit Office situated on the 8th Floor of the Senate House of the
University of Lagos recently.
He added that someone seeking for a post of security officer
in the Unit must have five O’ level credit including English and Mathematics.
He also include that such person will undergo a Diploma course in security and
Training by the Police College at Ikeja.
