Nigerian troops yesterday nabbed the top Nigerian politician who supplies arms and ammunition to Boko Haram terrorists.
The arrest was made in the Abuja residence of the politician after the
Nigerian troops had stormed his house in Borno without apprehending him.
This will almost end the attacks of Boko Haram insurgence in Nigeria as
top Boko Haram leaders are now powerless and can't pull anymore attacks
following the capture of their main arms sponsor who has been arrested.

The
Director of Lagos State Education Quality Assurance Unit, Mrs. Ronke Soyombo,
described the various adverts on social media that Lagos State Ministry of
Education are in need of teachers as scam. She made this known at the 2015
United Nations International Youth Day organized by Strategy Mentoring
International for Leadership Empowerment (SMILE) in collaboration with United
Nations Information Centre, Lagos recently.
The
event which took place at the Main Auditorium of the University of Lagos, Akoka
was used to commemorate the 12th of August picked by the United
Nations Council of Ministers to celebrate and educate youth all around the
world on their contribution to nation building.
Mrs
Soyombo admonishes the public not to heed to this advert because those doing it
are swindlers. Furthermore, she congratulate the youth on their 17th
International Youth Day celebration and told them that this is the best event
she has attended this year. As an alumnus of University of Lagos, she counseled
youth by saying “(your) Background have nothing to do with (your) success.” She
continue with “Application of knowledge is the real way to acquire education.
Some people are discouragers; lack of parental attention is not an excuse to be
discourage.”
With same mindset, the Deputy
Governor of Lagos State, Mrs Idiat Oluranti Adebule represented by Mrs Yetunde
Odeja, entrust the youth especially teenagers with nation building and
integration and engage themselves in civic activities from now on to eliminate
the popular saying that “youth are the leaders of tomorrow” which does not
allow them to effect change from early age though some want to.
Furthermore,
Mrs Bimpe Bamgbose Martin, the Founder of SMILE, thanks United Nations for its
supports as well as the Dean of Students’ Affair, University of Lagos for
providing the venue for the event. Also in her admonitory remark said teenagers
from secondary schools in the audience should emulate Miss Lanaire Aderemi, who
is helping “bagless” school children through her Bag for the Bagless Initiave.
Other
dignitaries at the event are Ronald Kayanja, the Director of United Nations
Information Centre, Lagos; Mrs Kemi Ajumobi, Head HBL BusinessDay; Praise
Fowowe, CEO of Centre for Sex Education and Family Life; Mr Adebola Williams,
co-founder and Partner at Red Media Africa; Mr Jimi Tewe, CEO Inspiro
Consulting and many others.
Donald Trump said Fox News journalist Megan Kelly "had blood coming out of her"
A major US conservative forum has dropped Donald Trump as a speaker, saying it was unacceptable for him to suggest that a journalist was tough on him because she was menstruating.
Ms Kelly had challenged him on remarks he made about women during a TV debate.
Amid the controversy it emerged that Mr Trump's top political adviser had left his campaign.
Mr Trump said he had sacked Roger Stone. But Mr Stone latertweetedthat the Republican contender "didn't fire me - I fired Trump", adding that he disagreed with the "diversion" created by the comments about Ms Kelly.
Mr Trump was one of 10 Republican presidential candidates in a TV debate co-hosted by Ms Kelly on Thursday, which was watched by a record 24 million people.
Early on in the debate, Ms Kelly asked him why voters should elect a man who has called women "fat pigs, dogs, slobs and disgusting animals".
Mr Trump joked that he only said that about TV personality Rosie O'Donnell before adding: "I don't have time for total political correctness."
Ms Kelly is a star presenter on the conservative Fox News channelMike Huckabee called Ms Kelly "remarkable"
Speaking on CNN, he said Ms Kelly was "a lightweight" and that he "couldn't care less about her", before making the comment about blood.
Conservative group RedState said Mr Trump was implying she was hormonal. Mr Trump later denied this in a tweet.
"Re Megyn Kelly quote: 'you could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever' (NOSE),"he wrote.
A later statement from his campaign said "only a deviant" would think Mr Trump meant anything else.
Analysis: Anthony Zurcher, BBC News, Atlanta
Could this be the moment Donald Trump has finally gone too far?
The prediction has been made many times before, but his disinvitation from the RedState conference here in Atlanta shows that the grass-roots conservative movement may be joining the party establishment in turning against the real estate mogul.
On Friday morning RedState host Erick Erickson took the stage to explain his decision, saying he didn't want his daughter to be in the same room with Trump.
"It's not political correctness," he added, "it's common decency."
Talk in the hallways outside the conference echoed these concerns.
"It's a question whether he really was a Republican in the first place," said Casey Mattox, a lawyer from Washington, DC. "That, on top of the comments he's made that I think were really offensive, make it the right decision not to associate with him."
After his Saturday morning speech, presidential candidate Mike Huckabee defended Megyn Kelly, calling her a "remarkable woman" who shouldn't be tangled with.
There's an old saying that one ought not to pick fights with newspapers because they buy ink by the barrel.
A similar point could be made about challenging much-loved television news hosts who appear on air every day.
Ina statement, RedState chief and powerful conservative activist Erick Erickson said "there are even lines blunt talkers [...] should not cross".
"It is unfortunate to have to disinvite him. But I just don't want someone on stage who gets a hostile question from a lady and his first inclination is to imply it was hormonal," he added.
"There is no way to otherwise interpret Mr Trump's comment," he said.
Carly Fiorina, the only female Republican candidate, joined the criticism of Mr Trump, tweeting: "There. Is. No. Excuse" shortly after the CNN interview.
Mr Trump's campaign responded to RedState's move by saying it was "another example of weakness through being politically correct".
Mr Trump is ahead of the 16 other Republican candidates in several recent polls despite making several controversial remarks since launching his president campaign.
Nothing you will not hear. Brazilian radio DJ Gleydson Carvalho
(pictured above) was gunned down in a studio as he broadcast live
yesterday. Two gunman burst into Radio Liberdade FM in Camocin, in north
east Brazil, overpowered a receptionist and an engineer and stormed
into the studio where Gleydson was talking to his listeners and shot him
five times, three times in the head and twice in the chest. The killers
left in a motorbike.
An hour before he was killed, the DJ had been campaigning against
corruption. He was known for his long-standing campaign against
government corruption. He'd even received death threats while on air
"They came to the station's facility and said that they had to make an
announcement,“ Herbert Silva, a local police chief, said of the killers.
He added that the the culprits have been identified.
"We're going to find them soon because they don't have water, money,
food and they are in a region with a lot of sun, rocks - almost a
desert."
